Perspective Is Everything

Perspective Is Everything

Perspective is everything.

Let me tell you something that I started doing unconsciously — not because I drilled it into myself with consistency, but because I've created my life to be so peaceful that the positive thoughts just flow naturally.

As Westerners, we're so programmed to complain about everything, but when you visit other parts of the world, you'll see people who are so content and happy with the simplicity of their lives.

They don't often have the privileges we have — things like expensive cars, clean water, high wages, video games, and in some places even toilet paper isn't a given.

Yet we complain about everything.

Anyway…

So here's the really simple thing I've embodied that has honestly made my life so abundant.

“Argh, I am so sore from that gym session.” → “Yes, but what a privilege it is to have access to a gym and to be able to move my body.”

“Damn, I'm tired.” → “Yes, but what a privilege it is to do things that push me to be better and, in return, make me tired.” Or: “What a privilege it is to be able to appreciate rest.”

“It's so hot, I hate this heat.” → “Wow, what a privilege it is to have the sun brushing me and the earth.”

“My car rego is so expensive.” → “What a privilege it is to be able to drive.”

I could go on, but I hope by now you get my point.

Look, if something is really bothering you — well, 9 times out of 10, you can change that quickly.

But if you can't, at least change your perspective.

As time moves on, we are continually becoming more and more abundant as humans, and we complain about everything.

Let go of that negative view of life and start remembering how good you actually have it, down to the smallest things.

Like breathing — what a privilege.

You can smell? What a privilege. Some people can't.

You have four limbs and working lungs? You're privileged.

This mindset alone has made my life so much more abundant, because my mind is trained to focus on the good.

And call me delusional, but have you heard of the red car theory? Yeah — that's another post. 😉

What you think about and focus on, expands.

You'll have more positive things pop up in your life, because you're creating it.

You get me?

Well, what about an opportunity to work with me? I'll train you to do what I do in my business and have your own business…

Because what a privilege it is to have someone open that space for you, yeah?
